Start with the supplier requirements
Request the current dieline, dimensions, material and printing constraints. Confirm which areas fold, overlap or remain visible on the finished package.
Treat a mockup as an explanation of intent. It does not establish dimensions, colour accuracy, material performance or production readiness.
Make information easy to check
Keep essential product information in an agreed hierarchy. Confirm all required wording with the responsible business and its appropriate specialists.
Separate design approval from factual approval. A visually resolved label can still contain information that has not been verified.
Review the actual proof
Check the supplier proof at the intended scale, including edges, folds, overprints and small type. Record the approved version and who is responsible for the next step.
These notes are an introduction to the workflow, not a compliance checklist. A real package requires the relevant supplier and professional review.
